That's what everyone thinks.
Yes, we kill each other, using the most brutal of methods, and the most degrading tortures, both physical and psychological.
The world is dying in vain, because of us.
But, though this is totally cliche, look on the bright side of life.
All of these have actually allowed us to treasure the humanity and moments we all share. It is a common experience, though not for all.
"It is well that war should be so terrible, or we would grow too fond of it."
So enjoy life.
